Internet Access: What happens if a student does not have consistent internet access?

Posted by:

Craven County Schools has established processes (which is part of the Remote Instruction Plan), using the in-person schedule, for students to upload a week's worth of assignments on the student devices and then, upon returning to the next in-person instruction day to be able to download the completed assignments from the students. This will enable students to stay on schedule with their peers. In addition, internet access points in our school facilities and throughout our community will be publicized to enable students to have more regular access to content (such as recordings of in-person lesson presentations by teachers) on a more regular basis than once or twice a week.
