Welcome to the Tiger Family our new TPE School Resource Officer-Click to see BIO

Hello Trent Park Elementary families! My name is Dora Bullock. I am a Sheriff’s Deputy with the Craven County Sheriff’s Office, and I am your new School Resource Officer (SRO). I am beyond excited and proud to be a part of this amazing school.

First, I will tell you a little bit about me. I was born and raised in Charleston, SC. My husband, Danny, of 17 years is in the Marine Corps. We have lived in New Bern since 2009, and we have two wonderful children. My son, Noah, is 15 and loves music and cars. My daughter, Aubrey, is 11 and enjoys musical theatre and organizing messes. Some of my favorite activities include singing, being with my family, and running. When I am not working here with the amazing students and staff of TPE, I teach the children’s choir and sing in the praise band at my church.

I am joining you from the Craven County Courthouse, where I worked as a Bailiff. I really enjoyed the daily challenges and adventures that being a bailiff provided, but I am so excited to have found a home here at Trent Park Elementary. I hope to make a positive and lasting impact on the students here. I promise to do my very best to provide security, a positive example, and a safe space to go to for every child at TPE.

The SRO program was originally started to promote positive relationships between juveniles and law enforcement. An SRO is meant to serve in three ways, informal counselor/mentor, educator, and law enforcement officer. I will strive, each day, to live up to these roles and I will do my part to make Trent Park Elementary a safe and happy place to learn and grow!
