I'm Ms. Cornwell! I have been at Havelock Elementary School for 6 years. Prior to becoming a teacher I was a Teacher's Assistant for 2 years. 

I received my Associate's in Elementary Education and then went on to UNC Wilmington (GO SEAHAWKS!) to obtain my Bachelor's in Social Work. After practicing Social Work briefly, I decided there was something missing and I made the decision to get back into a career in  Elementary Education.  I obtained my Teaching Licensure through ECU. 

HES is my home and working with students is my passion. I have taught both 3rd and 4th grade and absolutely love the content in both grades. NC history is my favorite subject to teach.
