Hello and Welcome to 3rd Grade!

My name is Mrs. Melissa Coffey and I am excited to start a new successful year of ongoing learning with your child! I am originally from Bucks County, PA, but have been living in NC for the past 4 years and absolutely love it!  I am married to my husband Will and between us we have 3 boys; Matthew, Jack and Andrew. We also have 2 fur babies, Daisy Mae and Kona Bell. I have my teaching certifications in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.  I have been teaching for 20+ years. Over those years, I have taught pre-K, Kindergarden, 5th grade, 6th grade and now 3rd. I enjoy days at the beach, out on the water, hiking, or reading a good book.
