HI I’M MRS. SPINNER

Teaching has always been an absolute passion of mine! I am so excited to work with you and your child! It’s going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us! I thought you might want to know more about me.

I am married with four kids. We have two boys and two girls. Olivia my oldest is going into Fourth Grade this year. Austin is seven and will be in Third grade this year, Cameron is six and going into First grade, and Abby who turned 2 this summer. They keep me busy and take up the majority of my free time, but I enjoy being outdoors, crafting, and READING when time allows.

I have lived in New Bern for the majority of my life. I was born in New York and spent most of my summers and breaks there visiting family that we moved away from as a young child. I am one of three kids, I am the middle child. I have an older sister who is also in education and a younger brother who is a police officer. I went to New Bern High School and graduate in 2010. I am a proud alumnus of ECU where I obtained my Bachelors in Elementary Education K-6 and additional license in Reading K-12.

It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I attempt to teach with a passion for my subject so that my students develop a desire to become lifelong learners.
