Mr. Ostdahl
Hello! My name is Quinton Ostdahl and I am a first year teacher at James W. Smith Elementary. I grew up in Parker, Colorado, where I spent most of my time playing football and fishing. I was inspired by many great teachers to set high goals for myself and to work hard to achieve them. Throughout my high school tenure, I established my true passion for academics, athletics, and helping others. I was fortunate enough to earn a scholarship to the University of Sioux Falls, to further pursue my goals. I graduated in the winter of 2021 as a Psychology and Exercise Science double major, receiving a Bachelor's in Arts and Science. I then moved to North Carolina, where I began working with disabled adults helping teach life skills and professional skills. It was an incredible experience that helped me realize that I love the process of teaching and that I wanted to become an educator. I am incredibly grateful for all the people and experiences that helped me build the confidence to achieve my dreams. Now my goal is to inspire confidence in a new generation, so they may achieve theirs.
