Hello!  My name is Jennifer Kalkbrenner, and I am the Contract Speech-Language Pathologist for JWS Elementary School this year!

I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist for over 20 years and have worked in a variety of settings, but my favorite is Elementary!  I hold a BS in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Oklahoma State University and a MS in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Oklahoma.

I live with my husband, two teenage daughters and our Aussiedoodle River in Raleigh, NC.  I coach varsity softball for Broughton Highschool in Raleigh.  

In my free time, I love going to the beach or the mountains with the family and watching my daughters play sports.

We will be using a virtual platform this school year called VocoVision.  VocoVision is a highly interactive and engaging virtual platform that has been around for over 10 years!  Multiple studies have shown this platform to be equally as effective as on-site intervention.
