Hello JTB Families!

My name is Shena Lovick. I was born and raised in Pamlico. GO CANES! In 1994, I graduated from Elizabeth City State University, where I received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology. I continued on with my educational journey and I attended the University of Phoenix, where I earned a MAT in Teacher Leadership. I later received my Teacher's Certification from the University of Mount Olive. I have worked in Craven County School for 15 years. I have served in different capacities throughout this time. This will be my third year here at J. T. Barber Elementary and my first as the MTSS interventionist for K-5. I taught Kindergarten for 2 years here at J. T. Barber and 6 years at C. T. Reed in Lanham, Maryland. I absolutely love working with the littles! I can't wait to see what new adventures I will be able to explore in this role. 

In my spare time I like reading fictional novels, bowling, and watching old movies. I also love hanging out with my family and friends on the weekend and doing silly projects with my little cousins.
