Roger Bell New Tech Academy

Hello! My name is Mrs. Messer and I am thrilled to be a third grade teacher this school year. I am originally from Louisville, Kentucky and have traveled all over the US. I am happily married to my best friend. We lived in KY, SC and CO before settling here. I love the coast the most. I have 3 boys, one who is much older, one who is in 2nd grade here this year and one in preschool here. My husband and kids all love adventure too. We go boating, hiking and camping any chance we get! I love the field of education. I taught cosmetology for 7 years before going back to get my masters' degree in education. I attended the University of Louisville for my Bachelor of Science in Geography and the University of Northern Colorado for my Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education. I also love all things nature, and have an extensive rock, shell, sand, and shark teeth collection. I can’t wait to learn and grow with all of the kids this year!
