Hi!  My name is Mrs. Hope Mauney and I am the Agricultural Educator and FFA Advisor for West Craven Middle School.  

I have been teaching for 14 years and have experience with high school and college instruction.  I am excited about teaching at the middle school level!

I grew up in Cove City and attended West Craven Middle School and hope to be able to help students in my own community to rise to success.

Agriculture is an exploratory option and each grade level has a different curriculum.  6th grade students are enrolled in the Exploring Foods and Agricultural Products class, 7th grade students are enrolled in the Exploring Animal and Plant Science class and 8th grade students are enrolled in the Exploring Environmental and Natural Resources class.

Teaching students is my passion and agriculture is my vehicle to do so!
