Hey there!

I am so excited to be teaching 3rd grade this year at James W. Smith! I can’t wait to spend a lot of time with your child learning just as much as having fun! Here is a little about me….

I'm originally from Kinston, NC, but have been in New Bern for three years. I graduated from East Carolina University in 2023 with a degree in Elementary Education (GO PIRATES!) with a concentration in Reading K-5. When I'm not in the classroom, I love to spend time with my family, read, and go on walks with my dog Sputnik! A few of my favorites are...
