Hello Everyone

       I am a wife and mother of five (2 birth/3 bonuses) originally from Pamlico County and raised in Craven County. Over the past 26 years, I have worked with children from birth to twelve. I am excited about transitioning from being the EC Instructional Support to the EC Teacher here at RBNTA. Becoming an Elementary school teacher has been a twenty-year dream in the making and that seems so surreal. I am a 2023 graduate of ECSU, "Viking Pride", with a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies, and am currently enrolled in graduate school at ECSU working to obtain my Master's in Education. I also have a local business in our community and I love seeing many of the parents who are supportive of my family's endeavors.

Teaching is my passion. My success is my blessing to be able to wholeheartedly teach children life skills to become good citizens and grow academically. The most important things in my life are God, family, and community. I would describe myself as a loving person who wishes to pour out my talents and spread love. I am a patient, confident, passionate, creative, organized, and quick learner who loves my career. I am here for my parents and my students to know that in our class all things are possible. We lead in all things with love and patience. We are all perfectly imperfect.
