Hello, 

My name is Stephanie Wilson and I am one of the Occupational Course of Study Exceptional Children's Teachers at Havelock High School.

I was born in a town right outside of Raleigh, NC and was raised there for the majority of my life. My family and I moved when I started my 10th grade year to Athens, GA, which is where I found a passion for helping and supporting students with disabilities. I helped out in the Adapted P.E. class and knew that, I too, wanted to become a teacher of exceptional children once I graduated. 

After graduating high school, I moved back to North Carolina to attend East Carolina University. I received my BS in Special Education and have spent the last 4 years in Pitt County teaching elementary students in an Autism-based classroom.

I recently moved to New Bern, NC to be closer to family and look forward to moving up to the high school level!
