Hello parents/ guardians and guests. I am Ms. Mobley. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. I came to North Carolina in 2011 at the tender age of twenty-four in hopes of finding my footing as a young woman. I have 18 years experience in the medical field with 10 years (2024) right here in beautiful North Carolina. I have one daughter, whom I adopted when she was 7. She is now 12 years of age.

I graduated from East Carolina University with my Bachelor's Degree with a Thematic Core in Educational Support Services for Special Population ( Go Pirates!!!). Teaching has always been my childhood dream career. I love sharing my knowledge with others in a way that ignites a fire and passion for them to want to learn more. What better way to fulfill that passion than enriching and shaping little minds? I absolutely love children of all ages! I also love good books. Reading is one of my many super powers.

As I embark on my new journey as a teacher, I want to create positive relationships with all stakeholders but, most importantly, my students. Let's roll out this new school year with positivity, excitement for new adventures and a "can do" attitude. This is Just The Beginnning for great things instored for J. T. Barber Elementary.
