Hello everyone! My name is Briggen Bownas, and I am so happy to be here for my second year at Ben D Quinn as a Speech Language Pathologist. I have been an SLP for five years now, and am a contracted teletherapist; that means you won't see me around the building, but I am just an email, phone call, or text away! I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology in Audiology, a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Literature, and a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American History from Miami University. I graduated with my Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Carolina University. I am currently licenced to practice in both North Carolina and Virginia. I just got engaged this summer, and we have a dog, Mango, who is a frequent visitor in therapy sessions. I am so excited for the 2022-2023 school year!
