Hello and welcome to 2nd grade, I'm Ms. Wilson. My family and I just moved to New Bern in July 2022. This is my fourth year teaching, but second in NC and 2nd grade. I was born and raised in West Virginia, but have always loved the beach; and finally wanted to live close to one, so here I am. I have two girls, Allyson "Ally", aged 17 at NBHS, and Morgan, aged 11at Brinson. We brought my mom along because we didn't want her in WV alone. We have a pug, 4cats, 2 hermit crabs, and 2 tiny turtles.

I have a bachelor's from WVU and a masters' from UoP. I have always wanted to teach but it took my dad getting very sick to wake me up and finish my schooling. My hobbies include the beach, basketball, volleyball, and softball. I love jellyfish, Pepsi, and eating seafood. My favorite sports teams are WVU, of course, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins, and the Atlanta Braves. I love, love, love Pepsi, and if you can't tell, my favorite color is blue. I am so excited about being at ORA and teaching 2nd grade.
