Hi Families! My name is Katie Frick and I am so excited to be teaching your child's second grade 2023-2024 school year! As we get this school year underway, I want to share a few things about myself. I am a proud military family, originally from Maryland. I have my B.S. in psychology from the University of Maryland and my M.A. in elementary education (K-6) from Liberty University. I have always aspired to be an educator! This will be my second year teaching at Creekside!

I am married and have 1 daughter, Caroline (3), and 1 son, Jack (6 months)! We also have a Brittany Spaniel, Hank, that we adore. Some of my favorite things include football (Go Ravens!), the beach, the color blue, all sweets, amazon, and coffee :) 

I love making learning fun, engaging, and student centered. In addition to creating a classroom community that is welcoming and nurturing to all that enter. I am looking forward to making memories with your child that they will cherish for years to come!
