I graduated from ECU with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. This is my twelfth year teaching. I have taught grades 1 through 5. This is my second year as a 5th grade teacher. I am absolutely ecstatic to have your child in my class and I look forward to partnering with you to make this year a success.

My family and I live in Havelock. My husband of 30 years and I have four children, two granddaughters, and five grandsons. As you can tell, I'm busy at school and at home. 

I am really looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you. I hope you are ready for a fun, yet challenging, year of learning with a healthy dose of laughter. After all...laughter makes the world go round.
