Welcome to 5th Grade.  I am so excited to be part of this wonderful teaching and learning experience.  I have been teaching for Craven County Schools for twelve years.  I have taught in the self-contained special education setting for 4th and 5th graders at Creekside Elementary School.  I taught regular ed in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade as well at the Creek as we referred to it.

My favorite subjects are Math and Science.  But I am gaining a love for teaching Reading to my students.  I absolutely love my profession of working with students.  I truly enjoy it when a student's love of learning shines through, because then I know I have made a difference in their lives.

I am married to a retired Coast Guardsman; we have been married for over 30 years.  We have two amazing children; we also have 3 wonderful grandchildren. I love spending time with my family.  We also have 2 crazy cats.
