Welcome to 2nd grade! My name is Rebecca Ipock. I am 28 years old and I live in New Bern. This is my 7th year teaching and my third  year at J.T. Barber! I can’t wait to get to know you and your child this year. Please know that I am here to help in any way I can. I am a proud product of Pitt County Schools! In May of 2017, I graduated from UNC Wilmington, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a concentration in Language Arts and Behavioral Studies. I taught 1st grade for 3 years, 3rd grade for one year, and now I am in 2nd grade! In my free time, I like to read, spend time with my family and boyfriend, and watch Netflix! My favorite place to visit is the beach. I love dogs, chocolate, and anything related to the ocean! I am so excited that I get to spend this year with your child. We are going to have so much fun learning and growing together. I strive to make every day engaging, fun, and filled with constant learning. This is going to be an awesome year!
