My name is Jennifer Ritchie, and I am a second and third grade combination teacher at Roger Bell New Tech Academy.  This is my third year teaching at RBNTA, and it is my 23rd year teaching.  I was born, raised, and still live in New Bern, NC.  My parents were both teachers in Craven County and they instilled in me the love of reading and learning.  I attended East Carolina University where I earned a BS in Child Development and Family Relations and Elementary Education K-6.  I have taught Kindergarten, first, and second grades, but second is my favorite.
