Welcome to English I 

I am Ms. Bird and I am looking forward to working with you! The adventure you are about to take will be a memorable one, and I am glad we are in it together. 

I am a HHS alum, but am so excited to be a member of the Bear family! I have a range of teaching experience from dance studios, to collegiate and professional workshops, to teaching English as a foreign language. I have a passion for writing and literature. I am a true believer in the learning experience. I believe that every student has the potential to achieve what they want to if they are willing to put the work in! I work hard to create an engaging environment that is student-centered; furthermore, I strive to allow everyone to feel valued within this space and throughout their education. I aim to encourage a positive, life-long learning experience. As it has been quoted:
