Hi! My name is Tabitha Brewer and I am a beginning teacher, in my third year. It is my first year in 3rd grade. This is my 13th year involved in CCS through my own children, volunteering, substitute teaching, and student teaching. The last 2 years have been in 1st grade, so I am so excited to explore a new grade level.

I was born in Germany, where my dad was stationed in the Army. However, I spent most of my adolescent years in and around Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. I worked full time in the cosmetology field prior to having children and becoming a stay-at-home mom. I met my husband in Illinois in 2000. We moved to Cherry Point with the Marine Corps in 2003 and got married on Ocracoke Island in August of 2004. We have 2 daughters still at home with us. Addisyn is 17 years old and attends CEC with very vague ideas about her future goals. Alice is 13 and in middle school at HMS with the goal of being a teacher since she was in 1st grade. 

I graduated from ECU Teaching Partnership in 2019. I am looking forward to teaching, learning, and growing with your students this year. Working together as teacher-parent-student teams, we will see exponential growth and learning for each individual for a wonderful school year.
