Ms. Michelle Sardinas

Hello all!

I would like to start off by thanking you for entrusting me with your child. I know that it is difficult to put a loved one, especially a child in the hands of a stranger. To trust that another individual who is just getting to know your child will  love, monitor, mentor, and ensure their happiness the way you have each done can seem unattainable. Though I will never be able to put forth the amount of time and energy that you all have each graciously provided your children, I will try my hardest to teach them the skills needed to be successful in all areas. When under my care I promise that they are safe, loved, and learning. This is my passion, teaching is my joy, and my students are the driving force that keeps me improving!

To help us become more acquainted I would like to share a little about my educational journey through teaching.

I graduated from the University of North Carolina (UNCW) in 2017' with a Bachelors in Elementary Education with a minor in Behavior. I hold a certificate for The Fundamentals of Montessori earned from The Center of Guided Montessori Practices and an Early Childhood Certificate from Coastal Carolina Community College. I hold a North Carolina Professional Teaching License for grades Kindergarten through 6th with an add on for Exceptional Children Kindergarten through 12th grade.

My work experience consists of teaching both Middle School as well as Elementary. However, this is my first year teaching within Craven County.

My philosophy when it comes to teaching and education is simple, "Every child is capable of learning  they just need to believe that they can!"
