My name is Mrs. Sarah Delap.  This is my fifth year at ORA, but my third year teaching 4th grade.

I am a graduate of East Carolina University in the area of Biochemistry.  I have taught high school science in Kinston and Greensboro, was a summer camp program director with the Boys Scouts of America, and was a 4-H agent in Jones and Pamlico counties, prior to joining the Owl’s Nest in January 2019.  Since joining the ORA family I have attended AVID training in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  In fourth grade, we incorporate many AVID strategies when completing challenges.  

In my free time, you can find me at my sewing machine, hiking in state and local parks, and painting.  My husband and I have two sons (Finn and Theodore), a cat, and a fish.
