Hi there, I'm Ashley Etheredge and I teach 6-8 grade band. I have been teaching for over 7 years and have education experience in 6-12 grade instrumental music.I recevied my degree from East Carolina Univeristy in K-12 Music Education with a concentration in Instrumental Music. While in college I had lots of opportunites to study with world renouned professors who have helped shape my teaching. I was also very blessed to have amazing state awarded music teachers throughout middle and high school. Since teaching my bands have received consistant Superior and Excellent Ratings as well as being named Grand Champions at mulit-state events.

When it comes to teaching, I believe it is about developing strong relationships that tap into students' passions and provide relevancy to students and allow them to make connections with the curriculum. I always want what is best for my students and I model lifelong learning in my personal and professional life. 

I know most students don't believe I have a life outside of the school, but I do. I am married to Stephen and we have two wonderful children, Logan and Kylie, as well as a dog named PeeDee. On my days off you can find me spending quality time with my family as well as hunting, fishing, and boating.
