Hello!  My name is Mr. Cockroft and I am from Cary, NC.  I graduated from UNC Charlotte with Magna Cum Laude honors and a degree in middle grades education.  My wife Jessica and I are both entering year 3 of teaching; she is the chorus teacher at New Bern High School.  My hobbies include all Pittsburgh sports (Here We Go Steelers!!), watching tv with my wife, and playing video games (yes kids, I know what Fortnite is).  I am looking forward to a fantastic year teaching 7th grade ELA with some awesome students here at HJM.
