I grew up in upstate New York, and West Milford, New Jersey.  My family still resides there, so when I have time off I usually head back up North.  I attended and graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Art Education, with a concentration in painting and drawing.  This will be my 26th year teaching Art. I previously taught in Edenton and Jacksonville, NC.  I have a son who was in the Army but now attends UNCW and a crazy, goofy dog named Payton.  When I have some free time I like to read, usually fiction, bake goodies and create all sorts of artwork.  I am excited for this new school year and a chance to work with our Tucker Creek Mustangs!
