School Performance Results

  • The State Board of Education released the North Carolina accountability data for the 2017-18 school year. This data includes student academic progress, and as required by state legislation, School Performance Grades. The School Performance Grades are calculated based on 80 percent of the school’s achievement score and 20 percent on students’ academic growth.

    Highlights from Craven County Schools data include:

    • 2 of our schools earned an A (Craven Early College and Early College EAST)
    • Our 2 Early Colleges also had 100% graduation rates

    • 13 of our 25 schools (52%) Met or Exceeded Growth

    •  8 of our 25 Schools (32%) earned the letter grade B or better
