Posted by:There is a separate pot of funds that cannot be used for general operating costs, but only for school rennovations called Capital Outlay.

The operating budget is usually represented based on a fiscal year, which is from July 1 through June 30. The school budget primarily supports salaries and benefits at approximately 82%. GAB Cabinet(School Improvement Team) with input from the staff and parent(s) determine the programs, services, supported throughout the fiscal year based on the bottom line budget.

Posted by:No, you can not use state or federal dollars to purchase playground equipment, the money is allocated for general operating expenses for classroom teachers and must be used to ensure successful learners.
