Welcome to 6th Grade!  My name is Eddie Gibbs. I graduated from East Carolina Unuversity in 1987 with a BS in Early Childhood Education.  I spent 11 years teaching in a very small school in Hyde County North Carolina. Later I serve as Director of Child Nutrition for Hyde County Schools for 2 years. I moved to Washington NC where I owned a restaurant, Catering Company, and flower shop for several years before coming back to the classrom. I taught for three years in Beufort County.  I began teaching in Craven county in 2008 at Vanceboro Farm Life Elementary. I moved to West Craven Middle School five years where I  teach math and love it!  During my career, I have taught second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, eighth, eleventh and twelth grades!  I really enjoy teaching math to sixth graders.
