Hello, my name is Darbi Billington. I am originally from New York but have lived in North Carolina for 24 years.  I am a graduate of East Carolina.  Go Pirates! I have a Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in Reading. This is my tenth year teaching 3rd grade here at Gurganus.  I have been married for 36 years and have three children (or should I say men) ranging from the ages of 24 - 36. I also have four dogs, two turtles, and one cat. When I am not at school, I like to read, travel, and spend time with my family.
