Hi Mustangs!  Welcome to you from a graduate of Craven County Schools.   After graduation, I attended Lenoir Community College earning a degree in Horticulture Technology.  From there, I attended and graduated from East Carolina University with a B.S. in Middle School Education with concentrations in Science and Social Studies.  My first two years teaching were in Scotland County at Sycamore Lane Middle School teaching Math and Science.  Home was calling and at the same time Tucker Creek Middle was being built.  Thankfully, I started at Tucker Creek in 1997 when the doors first opened. Since being here, I taught three years in eighth grade teaching Science and Social Studies, sixteen years in sixth grade teaching Math, Science and Social Studies,  two years in seventh grade teaching Science, returned to sixth grade teaching science and social studies on Team Sir Barton for the 2018-2019 school year. I was in seventh grade from 2019-2022 ,sixth in 22-23, now back in seventh.  I love working at Tucker Creek and enjoy working with its students, parents, falculty and administration.
