Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Norma Kelley

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Teaching Certification. I was one of the first two-year Teaching Fellows recipients.

I have lived in Craven County for over 25 years. In that time, I have been a parent, a volunteer, a substitute, and a teacher for Craven County Schools. I have learned that sometimes the most important people in our schools are the ones that the parents seldom see: the custodial staff, cafeteria staff, nurses, and volunteers. They do the work in support of the teachers and administration so that we can do our jobs more efficiently.

For this semester, students will need their school iPad, AVID Schoolwide Planner, pencils, highlighters, Interactive Notebook (composition book, preferrably with graph paper) , and graphing calculator (Ti-84 or lower number, a Casio 9750G/II or 9860G/II . There are some Casio and TI calculators available to check out from the library. It is better to check early.

I look forward to the 2022-2023 school year with your student.
