Hello! My name is Katie Daspit and this is my fifth year at James W. Smith! I taught three years in Kindergarten and now I am starting my second year in First Grade. I graduated from East Carolina (Go Pirates!!) with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in reading and science! Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I am so excited for another year full of fun, hard work, and adventures. My mission is for your child to meet their full potential and become a life-long learner.
