Hello! 

I am Ciara DiNapoli and I am the Drama and Music teacher at VFL! Letttt'ssss GOOOOO!!!!  This will be my 19th year of teaching and my 11th at VFLE. My husband, Vince, and I have three kiddos: Christian, Laila and Maia.  Our house is full of love, excitement, energy.  I have a BFA in Theatre Arts Education from UNC-Greensboro and an M.Ed. in Language and Literacy from UNC-Wilmington.  I am certified in Theatre Education K-12, Elementary Education K-6, and Reading Instruction K-12.  

My Mission Statement: 

I love my students unendingly and I love teaching them.  What I want most of all is that they love learning just as much. My mission is to provide a safe place where my/our children feel loved, valued, and can find their “genius”. I  believe in these key pieces of education:  Arts, conversation, and opportunity and that these 3 are critical and vital in repairing and maintaining our society of children who will grow into the LEADERS of our world— reestablishing empathy, compassion, value of life, respect for diversity, boldness to use their voices, and selfless interdependence.

I am excited to teach and nurture your child each week in "DraMusic", as I like to call it. I look forward to building great relationships with them as that is what matters most! I know they will be AWESOME Leaders!

It is my promise to you that they will have a safe and inviting place to learn when they are with me. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of their educational journey and a part of their lives!
