Hi!  My name is Lara Hermance-McKee and I am so excited to be teaching here in Craven County.  I grew up in Craven County and went to school here from Kindergarten through 12th grade!  I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from East Carolina University and my Master's Degree in Special Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Ga.  I spent 10 years teaching in Savannah, GA and moved back to North Carolina in 2015 with my husband and three children, and then had my fourth child here in North Carolina.  It has been so wonderful sharing memories I made as a child in the Craven County communities with my own children.
