I grew up in New York and Rhode Island. My real name is Elizabeth, but I go by Lisa. I graduated from Lasell College with an Associates in Fine Arts and then graduated from The Maine College of Art with a B.F.A. in Photography.

I got married and moved to North Carolina. I was employed as a graphic Art Designer for a magazine then worked for a photography company.

We had two children and I stayed home for a few years with them. I substituted for about 5 years and realized teaching art was awesome! I went back to college and got my K-12 teaching certificate for teaching Visual Arts. In 2005, I started teaching Art at H.J.M  and have been here ever since.

 I love my students and teaching Visual Arts. In my free time, I like to play Disc Golf, Mountain Bike, Hike and enjoy time with family.
