After retiring from the U.S. Air Force, I worked in business-to-business service for about 12 years prior to returning to school to complete a Bachelor's Degree in Middle School education.

I am very thankful to be working at Grover C. Fields. This is my sixteenth year at Grover. It is a pleasure, and a recognized trust, to work with your young people. I approach this trust and responsibility knowing I may not be able to see into the future, but I believe the future is before me every school day. As such, I understand a major part of the responsibility and trust given to me is to help prepare these young adults for that future. As President Franklin Roosevelt said, "We may not be able to prepare the future for our children, but we can at least prepare our children for the future."  Our country will only be as great as the character of its citizens, and the character of the citizens will be defined by their choices and commitments.

The success of education is truly a team product. Working together we can provide the tools and guidance our young people need to shape a bright and bold tomorrow.
