Hello! My name is Amy Kiewiet and I am excited to start a new school year at Brinson! I have lived in North Carolina for 16 years, but I grew up in Michigan and we travel back to visit family as often as we can. I graduated from Central Michigan University and this will be my 11th year at BME, but my 16th year teaching. I am very excited to be teaching 5th grade and hope that my passion inspires my students to become life-long learners. In my spare time I love to read, watch Michigan State Basketball, and take road trips.
