Welcome to Mrs. Sekely's Savvy Sailors Class Webpage!

Hi!  I'm Mrs. Sekely.  This is my 9th year teaching first grade.  I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in December 2005.  I am also certified in reading K-12.  I'm very passionate about 1st grade, as it is absolutely amazing to watch the huge growth the students make during this very important year (especially in reading)!!!

I have been married to my wonderful husband David for 15 years.  We have 3 beautiful children:  Lauren (13),  Aidan (10), and Laney (2).  They keep me plenty busy when I'm not at school!
