My name is Jennifer Benton.  I am thrilled to be teaching Kindergarten! Kindergarten is a year full of growth and adventure! My path to education started 22 years ago when I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  I have had the privilege of teaching 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade in three states (Texas, Florida, North Carolina).  While in Florida, I earned my Masters of Education from the University of North Florida.  My passion for teaching and making a difference propels me forward. 

When I am not at school, I am at home with my family.  I am blessed to have two healthy girls, a loving and devoted husband, and an energetic puppy. Brynn is 7 and entering Second Grade.  She is a free spirit who has her own style.  She loves to make up her own dance and gymnastic moves.  Music inspires her movement.  She is a sight to see! She is in love with her sister Emme.  Emme is 5 years old.  She is a busy little girl who loves the outdoors. She likes to ch lightning bugs, crabs, fish, and lizards. Emme adores her fur brother Scout.  Her smile and the twinkle in her eyes can light up a room. Mark, my husband, is outnumbered by the girls, but he is fine with that! He loves to play golf, fish, and spend time with his girls.  Brynn and Emme get free golf and fishing lessons from their daddy.  

I am ready to embark on a fabulous Kindergarten adventure!
