     Grades

    In 3rd grade, kids will receive grades based on the following scale:

         A: 90%-100% 

         B: 80%-89%

         C: 70%-79%

         D: 60%-69%

         F: below 60%

    Progress Reports and Report Cards will be sent home 4 times a year to keep you up to date on your child's progress.  Grades will be taken often and each graded assignment will be sent home in the folder every Thursday.

    Attendance

    Having your child in the classroom daily is  the key to success. Please make sure your child is in their work area on time each day as they begin their morning work promptly at 8:00. Our first ZOOM lesson will start at 8:30.  If your child is absent from school, please text me through REMIND.  Please note that certain absences are deemed excused, and others are unexcused.  Also, your child must be at school until 11:30 to be considered present.  If the child is checked out before then, he or she is marked absent.
