This is my tenth year as a teacher in Craven County. I have taught in grades Kindergarten thru Second. This will be my first year teaching third grade.  I am a native of the Craven County School system. I graduated from the University of Mount Olive in 2012. This is where I received my bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and my teaching license. Since 2012, I have earned my Master's in Education from the University of Mount Olive. I am married and a mom of four. I have twins who have graduated from New Bern High school. My youngest two are currently attending H.J. McDonald Middle School as a seventh-grader, and one attends New Bern High School as a senior.  

I love to work with students and help them overcome the struggles that they may face. I am a true believer that it takes a village to raise and educate a child. It is important for me to see all children reach their personal best.
