  •  Mission: Our team is committed to providing high quality services with professionalism and timeliness to support the learners, educators, and all professionals of Craven County Schools.

     Purpose:

    The Print Shop is responsible for providing responsive, high quality documents and related services, in support of the mission of all Craven County Schools (CCS). Services include high speed/high quality duplication, transactional printing, bindery/finishing, imaging, and consulting. Print Shop customer service representatives leverage industry expertise and a pool of commercial printing contracts to broker highly specialized orders to commercial resources. The Print Shop is responsible for providing high-speed digital black and white and color printing, offset printing, and bindery services, as well as facilitating outsourced commercial print services.

     

     

     
  • The Craven County Schools Print Shop offers a wide variety of services and options. We offer our services at a very low cost to better accommodate the teachers and staff of Craven County Schools. We pride ourselves on our commitment to each member of the Craven County Schools team and communicate one on one to ensure we provide our services to your satisfaction from start to finish. With professionalism and high quality services, our team is dedicated to assisting you.

     

    Ashley Whitford, Coordinator of Operational Support

    Ashley has been with Craven County Schools for nineteen years. He has seen many changes in the school system, but as a loyal employee, he has continued to grow alongside Craven County Schools. His full nineteen years have been in the Print Shop where he has been a jack-of-all-trades. From graphic design and layout, operating high speed equipment and binding machinery, to becoming the coordinator of Operational Support. He leads a wonderful team that supports the Print Shop’s goal of serving the teachers and staff of Craven County Schools.

     

    Linda Balek, Print Shop Assistant

    Linda has been with Craven County Schools for 20 years. She started as a HUG Coordinator, became a bookkeeper, and eventually moved into a Teacher Assistant position at Trent Park Elementary. Linda has learned many skills in her career including being a bus driver, and ultimately has become a Print Shop Assistant. She has worked with the Print Shop team since November 2019 and continues to play a huge role in our mission. She is also part of the Technology team as an office manager, so her skills go far beyond what is expected. Linda loves learning new things and is always committed to serving Craven County Schools.

     

    Myint Tun, Print Shop Courier

    Myint has been a valued employee of Craven County Schools for over eight years and her hard work ethic has been displayed everyday. Myint speaks four languages and learns more and more everyday. For the past three years, Myint has taken the responsibility of Print Shop Courier and has made it her own. She has a wonderful relationship with Central Office and school staff alike. We hear nothing but how pleasant she is to work with.  She continues to learn new things and is a huge asset to Craven County Schools.
