Family Literacy

Craven County Family Literacy is a comprehensive program which integrates children's education, adult education, parent education and interactive parent-child literacy and learning activities. This high-quality program promotes adult literacy and empowers families to support the educational needs of their children. Additionally, the program offers preparation for adults to complete a North Carolina High School Diploma Equivalency and offers English as a Second Language classes.
There are three locations in Craven County:
- James W. Smith Elementary School
- Roger Bell New Tech Academy
- Vanceboro Farm Life Elementary School
