Pre-Kindergarten

Craven County Schools offers the North Carolina Pre-Kindergarten Program. It is a state funded Pre-K and is offered at no cost to eligible families. All children must be determined eligible according to the state pre-kindergarten guidelines. Children must be 4 years old on or before August 31st of the current year to be eligible for NC Pre-K.
The program is located in several of our elementary schools, local Head Start sites, and private child care centers.
