AP Testing will be different this year, but students will still be able to take AP tests regardless of whether schools are able to open. College Board has created AP tests that will allow testing at home. They have also created resources to help students prepare for the test.
Your AP teachers may have already talked to you about some of the changes and resources available to you. College Board is still developing some other resources that will be available before testing. Provided here are some links to AP resources students may find helpful as they prepare for testing this year. Please follow any guidance from your AP teacher and continue to engage in class for the courses that are still meeting.
Craven County Schools students who take AP courses are allowed to test at no cost to them and this is true this year too! Normally the test is $94.00, but this cost is covered for our students. We encourage all of our AP students to take advantage of this opportunity to earn college credit.
You have worked for this and you are ready! The test this year will take you less than an hour to complete, but if you do well, it could save you hundreds of dollars and countless hours of work in a college class for which you receive credit.
