My name is Coach Mixson and I am very excited about this school year! I teach Health/PE and AVID along with being the AIG Support Personnel at WCMS. In addition to teaching, I amd the Head Coach for Girls Soccer, Girls Basketball and Girls Track. A little about myself, I was born and raised in Statesville, NC. I graduated from Pfeiffer University in 2016 with my Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education and in 2018 with a Master of Science in Education. While at Pfeiffer, I was a 4 year member of the Women's Soccer Team. I graduated from Liberty University in May 2022 with a Graduate Certificate Degree in Educational Technolgy and Online instruction. I have been married to my husband Jay for 3 years and we have a resuce dog named Rose (who thinks she is a hooman). In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and friends, hike, cook, read, visit the beach and mountains, follow sports, fish, and workout. I am excited to be a part of the WCMS Wildcat family to start my 4th year of teaching.
