I am so excited to be the new principal of Vanceboro Farm Life Elementary School.  Prior to coming to Craven County Schools I worked in Currituck County for several years as a teacher, assistant principal and principal.  I have over 14 years experiance in education and taught grades 2nd through 5th in both Ohio, Virginia and North Carolina.  In 2001 I earned my Bachelor of Art's Degree in Elementary Education and in 2009 I completed my Master's of Education Degree in Educational Leadership, Administration. 

Much of my spare time is spent with my wife, Luana, and minature dachshund, Oscar.  My wife and I are both arts minded people and we enjoy attending the theater and symphony.  We are also avid West Virginia University football and basketball fans.
